Free Circulation

Exhibition proposal for Oslo about movement of persons across borders.

Free Circulation intends to explore the paradox of the contemporary neo-liberal economic paradigm where goods and services should be liberated of any constriction in their movements across the planet, while, instead, the mobility of humans is limited by numerous factors such as nationality, age, gender, ethnicity, religious or political affiliation, personal wealth and education.
The project develops concepts and ideas already developed for “1000 Istanbuls” and is inspired, among other things, by the ongoing work of Lama Joreige “Objects of War”. It was submitted for the 2016 Oslo Architecture Triennale and pre-selected.
