Photographic survey of the front gardens in the Providencia neighborhood in Santiago.

Due to the specific regulations of the area, a large army of workers, often coming from less affluent part of the city, tends the microscopic fragments of landscape in front of apartment buildings.

Art. 25: Enclosures must be 100% transparent towards the street, public space in general and between properties or whenever possible not exist at all.

Art. 28: In residential buildings, it will be compulsory to provide 7 square meters of open space per inhabitant.

Art. 30: Any existing valuable trees on sidewalks or within lots must be maintained by future constructions.
